Usual Adult Dose for Allergic Rhinitis

1 tablet (1 mg-120 mg) orally twice a day as needed.

Usual Adult Dose for Nasal Congestion

1 tablet (1 mg-120 mg) orally twice a day as needed.

>12 years:

1 tablet (1 mg-120 mg) orally twice a day as needed.

1 tablet (1 mg-120 mg) orally twice a day as needed.

Renal Dose Adjustments

Pseudoephedrine is eliminated by the kidney and may accumulate in patients with renal dysfunction. Patients with renal dysfunction should be monitored for signs and symptoms of toxicity when using pseudoephedrine.

Dialysis

Pseudoephedrine is partially removed by hemodialysis, therefore doses should be given following dialysis sessions.

Other Comments

The maximum recommended daily dose is 2 tablets (1 mg-120 mg) daily.
