white pulp of spleen
Definition: aggregations of beta lymphocytes visible macroscopically when the fresh spleen is sectioned; they appear as white, translucent dots 1 mm or smaller in diameter that contrast with the surrounding matrix of red pulp and consist of nodules and other lymphatic concentrations.
