Wachstein-Meissel stain for calcium-magnesium-ATPase
Pronunciation: wahk-stīn′mīs′elprocedure similar to Gomori nonspecific acid phosphatase stain, except that incubation is carried out with ATP as substrate at neutral pH; enzyme activity is generally demonstrated at cell membranes.
