transverse temporal sulcus
Definition: the shallow sulcus that demarcates the transverse temporal gyri on the opercular surface of the superior temporal gyrus. This sulcus frequently consists of more than a single sulcus, depending on the exact configuration of the transverse temporal gyrus (gyri).
