Pronunciation: trans-al′dō-lās
Definition: Transferase interconverting sedoheptulose 7-phosphate and d-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate to d-erythrose 4-phosphate and d-fructose 6-phosphate; part of the pentose phosphate pathway.
