Definition: a rare malignant tumor of synovial origin, most commonly involving the knee joint and composed of spindle cells usually enclosing slits or pseudoglandular spaces that may be lined by radially disposed epitheliallike cells.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
