Definition: a form of leukemia in which abnormal cells are present in the peripheral blood, but the total leukocyte count is not elevated.
Synonym(s): hypoleukemia, leukopenic myelosis, subleukemic myelosis, subleukemia
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
