Definition: Containing antibody of a specific type in serum; used to indicate presence of immunologic evidence of a specific infection (Lyme disease, syphilis) or presence of a diagnostically useful antibody (rheumatoid arthritis with rheumatoid factor).
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
