Definition: in experimental anaphylaxis, the antigenic inoculum that renders an animal susceptible (sensitive) to anaphylactic shock following a subsequent inoculum (shocking dose) of the same antigen (anaphylactogen).
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
