Definition: one of the deep inguinal lymph nodes located in or adjacent to the femoral canal; sometimes mistaken for a femoral hernia when enlarged.
Synonym(s): nodus lymphoideus inguinalis profundi proximalisTA, node of Cloquet, Rosenmüller gland, Rosenmüller node
