Pronunciation: fos′fō-myū′tās
Definition: One of a number of enzymes (mutases) (EC 5.4.2.x) that apparently catalyze intramolecular transfer because the donor is regenerated (phosphoglyceromutase, phosphoglucomutase).
Synonym(s): phosphodismutase
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
