Definition: volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the fresh peel of Citrus aurantium (family Rutaceae). Aromatic material used as a flavoring agent in pharmaceuticals, foods, and liquors; also used in perfumes.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
