Definition: an unusual form of chronic granulocytic leukemia in which the greatly increased number of leukocytes in the circulating blood are mature polymorphonuclear neutrophils, with virtually no young or immature granulocytes being observed.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
