Definition: a syndrome of hyperpigmentation, third cranial nerve damage, and enlarging sella turcica caused by pituitary adenomas presumably present before adrenalectomy for Cushing syndrome but enlarging and symptomatic afterward.
Synonym(s): postadrenalectomy syndrome
