mammillothalamic fasciculus
Definition: a compact, thick bundle of nerve fibers that passes dorsalward from the mammillary body on either side to terminate in the anterior nucleus of the thalamus.
Synonym(s): fasciculus mammillothalamicus, fasciculus thalamomammillaris, mammillothalamic tract, Vicq d'Azyr bundle
