long ciliary nerve
Definition: one of two or three branches of the nasociliary nerve, which bypass the ciliary ganglion, supplying postsynaptic sympathetic fibers for the dilator pupillae muscle and sensory fibers for the ciliary muscles, iris, and cornea.
