Pronunciation: kēt-an′sĕr-in
Definition: Specific serotonin 5HT2-receptor antagonist with antihypertensive properties; the drug also reduces platelet aggregation produced by serotonin. Shown to reduce the severity and frequency of the vasospasm in Raynaud's phenomenon.
