Pronunciation: in′tĕr-mē′dē-ō-lat′ĕr-ăl
Definition: Intermediate, and to one side, not central. Used especially to denote the intermediolateral nucleus of the spinal cord, the location of all presynaptic sympathetic nerve cell bodies.
