Definition: a form of embryonic hemoglobin containing the ζ chains of hemoglobin Gower-1 and the γ chains of Hb F, thus having the formula ζ2γ2; essentially disappears by the third month of pregnancy.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
