Definition: A benign neoplasm frequently arising in the cerebellum composed of capillary vessel–forming endothelial cells and stromal cells; a slowly growing tumor that affects, primarily, middle-aged individuals; increased incidence in von Hippel-Lindau disease.
Synonym(s): angioblastoma, Lindau tumor
