Hallervorden-Spatz syndrome
Pronunciation: hah′lĕr-fōr-dĕn shpahtsa disorder characterized by dystonia with other extrapyramidal dysfunctions appearing in the first two decades of life; associated with large amounts of iron in the globus pallidus and substantia nigra.
