Pronunciation: hah′lĕr
Definition: a variant of ethmoidal air cell developing into the floor of the orbit adjacent to the natural ostium of the maxillary sinus. A diseased Haller cell is capable of obstructing that ostium and producing a maxillary sinusitis.
