gas gangrene antitoxin
Definition: antitoxin specific for the toxin of one or more species of Clostridium that cause gas gangrene and associated toxemia, especially C. perfringens, C. novyi, C. histolyticum; commercially available preparations are usually polyvalent, contain antitoxin for two or more species.
