Fusobacterium necrophorum
Definition: an unusually pleomorphic species causing or associated with several necrotic conditions in animals, such as calf diphtheria, labial necrosis of rabbits; necrotic rhinitis of pigs; foot rot of cattle, sheep, and goats; and occasionally necrotic lesions in humans.
