facial index
Definition: relation of the length of the face to its maximal width between the zygomatic prominences; to get superior facial index, the length of the face is measured from the nasion to the alveolar point: (nasialveolar length × 100)/bizygomatic width; for total facial index, length is measured from the nasion to the mental tubercle: (nasimental length × 100)/bizygomatic width.
