Definition: a restrictive cardiomyopathy associated with hyperproduction of eosinophils and their cardiac infiltration, clinically characterized by diastolic and later systolic ventricular failure. Sometimes associated with Churg-Strauss syndrome or eosinophilic pericarditis.
