Pronunciation: der′mă-tog′ră-fizm
Definition: A form of urticaria in which whealing occurs in the site and in the configuration of application of stroking (pressure, friction) of the skin. The resulting white line response appears early in flares of atopic dermatitis.
Synonym(s): autographism, factitious urticaria, skin writing
