coproporphyrin
Pronunciation: kop′rō-pōr′fi-rin
Definition: One of two porphyrin compounds found normally in feces as a decomposition product of bilirubin (hence, from hemoglobin); certain corproporphyrins are elevated in certain porphyrias.
