Pronunciation: klos′tri-pān
Definition: A cysteine proteinase cleaving preferentially at the carboxyl side of arginyl and lysyl residues. It also has an esterase activity.
Synonym(s): clostridiopeptidase B, Clostridium histolyticum proteinase B
