Definition: a bilateral, symmetric corneal dystrophy caused by prolonged exposure to extremes of heat or cold; nodular opacities are limited to the interpalpebral area and vision is only mildly affected.
Synonym(s): chronic actinic keratopathy, climatic droplike keratopathy, Labrador keratopathy, spheroidal degeneration
