Definition: a type I transmembrane protein found on suppressor (cytotoxic) T cells, some natural killer cells, and most thymocytes that is involved in T-cell antigen recognition; expressed in some T-cell lymphomas and large granular lymphocyte leukemias.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
