Boyden meal
Pronunciation: boy′dĕn
Definition: a meal consisting of three or four egg yolks, beaten up in milk and seasoned with sugar, port wine, and other ingredients, used to test the evacuation time of the gallbladder; two thirds to three quarters of the contents will be normally evacuated within 40 minutes.
