Definition: Cellular structure with two histomorphologic patterns. The paradigm is synovial sarcoma, in which plump round cells and spindle-shaped fibroblastic cells alternate with with glandularlike areas that show synoviallike cells.
Examples: glitazone, GI cocktail, etc.
