biotinidase

Pronunciation: bī′ō-tin′i-dās
An enzyme catalyzing the hydrolysis of biotin amide (forming biotin and ammonia), biocytin (forming biotin and lysine), and other biotinides. A deficiency of biotinidase can lead to organic acidemia.
