Baltic myoclonus disease

 

Definition: one of the familial light sensitive myoclonic epilepsies. Unlike Lafora body polymyoclonus, where inclusion bodies are seen in the brain cells, the prognosis is often favorable. Probably an autosomal recessive disorder.
