atypical endometrial hyperplasia

 

Definition: a particularly severe form of hyperplasia marked by an increase in the number of glands; these glands have little stroma separating them, yet retain an orderly architecture, a trait that distinguishes them from adenocarcinoma; sometimes referred to as endometrial cancer in situ.
