ATP:cobalamin adenosyltransferase
Definition: an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction of ATP, water, and cobalamin to form orthophosphate, pyrophosphate, and adenosylcobalamin. Adenosylcobalamin is required by methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. A deficiency of ATP:cobalamin adenosyltransferase leads to methylmalonic acidemia.
