Definition: anemia characterized by a greatly decreased formation of erythrocytes and hemoglobin, usually associated with pronounced granulocytopenia and thrombocytopenia, as a result of hypoplasticity or aplasticity of bone marrow.
Synonym(s): anemia gravis, Ehrlich anemia
