aorticorenal ganglia
Definition: a semidetached portion of the celiac ganglia, at the origin of each renal artery; receives presynaptic sympathetic fibers from the lesser splanchnic nerves that synapse in the ganglia with postsynaptic sympathetic neurons that extend along the superior mesenteric and renal arteries.
