Pronunciation: ad′e-nil-ō-sŭk′sin-ik as′id
Definition: A condensation product of aspartate and inosine 5′-monophosphate; an intermediate in the biosynthesis of adenylic acid. Formally, it is adenylic acid with succinic acid replacing an H of the NH2 group.
Synonym(s): adenylylosuccinic acid, N-succinyladenylic acid
