This conference was a national success at its inception. Stepping into its second year, the program will focus on advances in key areas of diagnosis and management of a wide myriad of cardiovascular diseases. these will include 2 and 3D echocardiography, multimodality imaging for percutaneous valve therapies, valve hemodynamics and mini-surgical therapies, imaging and interventions for venous and vascular disorders, multimodality imaging prior to carotid and intra-cranial interventions, imaging and intervention for hypertension.
Many other topics will be covered highlighting the role of CTA, MRI, and echocardiography prior to cardiovascular interventions. the conference will provide cardiologists, internists, technicians, radiology technicians, sonographers, physician assistants, cardiac nursing personnel, and cardiology fellows a better understanding of the technical advances, clinical applications, appropriateness and limitations of cardiovascular CT, MRI and echo imaging and diagnosis and planning existing and novel interventional therapies.
