Medications for Erosive Esophagitis

Erosive esophagitis refers to any erosion, ulceration, irritation or inflammation of the walls of the esophagus, the tube that leads from the back of the mouth to the stomach. Erosive esophagitis is often caused by fluid that contains acid flowing back from the stomach to the esophagus. Certain medicines, infections and vomiting can also cause erosive esophagitis.
