terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I had a toenail fungus and started taking this medication. I've been on it for almost 3 months. Some of the nail on the big toe came off, which I think is good. My blood work has been fine and I've had no bad side effects. So it works.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I have struggled with athletes foot and toe nail fungus since I was a young child. I am 40 years old now and I started a 90 day treatment of Lamisil tablets. My experience was life changing. I didn't have ANY bad side effects. I had GOOD effects of clearing up that nightmare that I suffered from for most of my life. I never wore sandals or walked around barefoot because I was embarrassed. Now my feet look normal. I started seeing results and feeling better within a month. The itching and burning went away. The second month I could see my nails changing color from black to clear. I started taking my pills at the end of October 2012 and finished in the middle of January 2013, it is April now, and my nails are completely clear.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I've been on Terbinafine for almost a month. I haven't noticed any results yet, but haven't really looked because I didn't think it worked that fast. I've recently developed queasiness at times and lethargy. Which could be from a variety of sources. Not sure. I have not experienced any side effects other than those. I'm hoping I lose my taste for foods. I'm hoping it causes weight loss. My luck, I'll be one that doesn't suffer that. I have no doubt this will work, which is why I gave it the highest score already. I'll report back in a few months.

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I've had toenail fungus for as long as I can remember. I've never worn sandals, embarrassed to show my feet around my own family. Also very bad ringworm, so no bathing suites or swimming either. I've been taking terbinafine for about 3 months and my toenails are starting to grow out healthy at the base, it's going to take a while longer I guess, hopefully in time for summer! The ringworm disappeared within a few weeks! No side effects to speak of. And my blood work is all good.

terbinafine for Tinea Pedis: I used this on a tinea problem on my eleven year old. Initially it was extremely itchy, and I thought he was just being wimpy (shame on me as a parent), as he later developed a strong case of hives on the legs, which was exacerbated by swimming at a swimming pool. A strong red rash and hives resulted, before settling. He took an antihistamine tablet, with no further problems since.

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I have been taking it for 3 weeks without no side effects. Here are some things I did to minimize the side effects: Super hydrated, drank 3-4 liters of herbal tea throughout day. I normally drink a lot of water. It's an excellent way to flush your liver and kidneys. Good luck!

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I have had toenail fungal infection for a long time. I have been taking this medicine for over a year and a half. It got better and finally grew to the end but is still thick and yellow, however it is now clear on about 1/3 of my big nail now. Doctor said keep taking, must have had a bad infection with it. Not sure why my nails take so long to grow out. Liver still great.

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: Both of my big toenails and pinky toenails were really bad. You couldn't even recognize that my pinky toes had toenails. My big toenails were yellowish and crusty. I started taking Terbinafine back in the end of July and now almost 4 months later I would say both my big toenails are about 75-80% better. As for my little toenails there has been improvement but not as much as the big toes. I would say 40-50% for the little toenails. All said and done though I must admit I am glad I took this medicine. Works great and I can't wait for the full results! As for the side effects I was one of the lucky ones that had no side effects.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I just started three weeks ago so it's too early to report results, but I wanted to post that the whole taste thing did not happen to me. And there are other meds such as certain antibiotics that mess up my taste, so it's not like I'm immune or not sensitive to it. I'm sure the people that are posting about it do have this issue, but my advice is to not think about the taste issue.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Fingernail: I am a healthy 25 year old male, I cannot remember my toenails NOT having fungus. I lived through the embarassment seemingly my whole life, but once my thumbnail became infected to the point where it was practically gone, I had to do anything to treat it. Doctor suggested I take Lamisil, I think he said it has like a 50% chance of working. I was very nervous after reading reviews, but it also helps that I never drink alcohol. Took it Dec.'11 until March '12, had one liver panel done (normal result). I believe by April my thumbnail was 100% healthy and now (9/12) my toenails are 99% healthy, thank you. Only side effect I noticed wasn't bad, just my farts/stool smelled metallic. I say give it a shot, you can always stop taking it.

Back in 2002 I'd taken the medication, noticed that my stomach burned almost every night since I took it at night and other than that, 10 months later, I had new beautiful WONDERFUL NAILS! No more going to the Nail Shop to put acrylics on my big toes. I noticed that my big toe and little toes have MILD thickness and well I'm repeating the dose. I know that I will have SATISFYING RESULTS!

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I am 15, and I read many reviews of this medication. To be honest, I was scared. However, it has been about a month and a half and I only have about 30 more pills to go. I have gotten absolutely NO side effects. I believe that this pill is working, because my nails are beginning to look healthier. 2 months after taking all of the pills my nails will be completely healed. My doctor said that he has never prescribed this medication to a 15 year old, and it was a success. I would recommend this medication, because I know it raised my self esteem a ton. I recently started using this medication prescribed to me from my doctor and the first week of taking it was not so bad but I did have headache, nausea and leg aches. After the first week I felt great and I'm already seeing results. I'm so happy with this medication. I love it!

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I'm 31 yrs old( F) . Been taking Lamisil for 2.5 months and have had no side effects. I can see the difference in my toenails!

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: Finally I got terbinafine and have taken this for 2 months and so far my liver panels are normal. I see improvement in my big toenail- the base coming in is clearer and the nail there is not mis-shapen. My little toenail has yet to look better. I have had no side effects at all.

I have been taking it now for 3 months noticed slight improvement. Maybe I am not one of the lucky ones and have to take it for longer. I suffered no side effects apart from depression, mood changes. I have tried to research this to see anyone else has had the same side effect but only come across one or two. Although the depression is bad I am going to carry on with the medicines because I feel I can fight it and will be very happy when my two toes have cleared up. Please let me know if you are suffering with the same side effect because some may say its not worth it if it makes you feel so terrible.

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own two eyes. After taking Terbinafine for 3 1/2 months the fungus on my fingernails (2 fingernails and 7 toenails) is almost COMPLETELY gone. My toenails are about 50% clear. I had no side effects. I highly recommend using this product.

Lamisil (terbinafine): I am 33, and have been suffering with toenail fungus and athlete's feet for over ten years. I have tried everything OTC with no results on the nails and good results on the atrial fibrillation but it always came back. Like many of you I don't go out often with open toed shoes unless I wear socks. I am in my first 30 days of Lamisil and I can already tell a difference in my atrial fibrillation, not quite sure about toenails yet it's too early to tell. So far no side effects.

I have had toenail fungus since I was 16 years old - I am now 33 and 5 months ago decided to go to the doctor and do something about it. 7 of my toenails had very bad fungus - they were completely colored (yellow, brown, black etc.) and most of them were very thick and crumbly. I never went barefoot in public and always covered my nails with nail polish. I always envied people who could wear sandals etc. My doctor prescribed terbinafine and I saw results in 3 weeks - I couldn't believe it - my nails started growing through clear and my athletes foot also disappeared. Now, 5 months down the track my nails are growing through clearly - the thickness and crumbling has gone - I have had absolutely no side effects - I am so happy!

terbinafine for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I've had nasty, thick, crusty toe nails my whole life and was always too afraid to take the pill for it. I got over it when my toenail started turning black! I have three weeks left of a 3-month course of terbinafine and I'm impressed. The side effects are scary when you read about them, however, I experienced none other than initial anxiety about taking them. I've done my two liver panels and have been fine. Didn't notice much change in the toe nails until now - one of my toe nails has been thick and crusty since I was a little girl and tonight I noticed a little sliver of healthy nail coming through. Feels like a miracle! Stick with this - it sounds like a scary medication but if you do your liver testing, you'll be fine.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Tinea Pedis: Under direction of my MD I took Lamisil for 7 weeks and my sense of taste disappeared. The past 8 weeks my taste has come and gone. Miserable side effect.

Lamisil (terbinafine) for Onychomycosis, Toenail: I took these pills twice. The first time they did not work at all. The second time, I had my toenails removed and took Lamisil for three months and it worked great. I recommend this pill. Just stay away from alcohol so you will not harm your liver or kidneys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
