Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Otitis Media: I am a 30 year old female and was prescribed Bactrim for a bad ear infection. One day later I had a rash all over my arms, neck and face. I was given a new antibiotic in the ER.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Otitis Media: Where do I start, I was feeling so icky and found out I had a double ear infection. My doctor decided to put me on Bactrim. That was the worst medication ever. I've had back pain, dizziness and nausea ever since starting it. The other odd side effect is the nasty perfume taste and smell I keep smelling.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I took Bactrim for a bacterial infection under my skin, on my face, that resulted in many cystic like bumps. They were so painful. After taking the medicine for just a few days, the swelling and pain went away and the bumps cleared up. I would take this medicine again.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Urinary Tract Infection: I never had an allergic reaction until I took this medication, now I learned the hard way I'm allergic to sulfa drugs. After one dose I had a lot the serious side effects: high fever, intense stomach pain, insomnia, hallucinations, anxiety, non-stop chills/shaking, vomiting, rash. Needless to say I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. I think my that you need to be careful when taking the drug and be aware of all the serious side effects.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I took Bactrim for a boil on my face. After 2 days of taking, the boil began to drain but the nausea and stomach pain has been very uncomfortable.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Urinary Tract Infection: Worked very well. By the second-third pill it was feeling better. But Doctor gave me the DS 2x a day and I think its a bit much. By 4th day I felt really horrible. Tired, foggy headed, and lethargic towards the evening. Not going to take anymore pills. Did clear up the issue tho!

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Urinary Tract Infection: I was prescribed Bactrim for a UTI. It started to clear it up in a day, but I was so nauseous. I couldn't even sleep and then I started vomiting on the second day so I went back to the doctor.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Prostatitis: I was prescribed Bactrim for Prostatitis. I took it for 3 days and only had significant side effects. I've never had a medicinal reaction in my life before this.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bronchitis: Had a bad case of bronchitis and Bactrim was prescribed. Within a day I was feeling better and was completely well in 3-4 days. Amazing! However, my wife was prescribed the same drug for her bout of bronchitis and found that she was allergic to it and had horrible stomach pain. So it's obviously not for everyone.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I was prescribed this for a nasty spider bite that got infected. The infection started getting better after one day but the nausea is 24/7. I could hardly eat anything and had trouble sleeping because of the horrible feeling in my stomach. Was prescribed 2 pills a day for 10 days. The pills were large.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I was diagnosed with MRSA, a staph infection that is like small boils on the skin. I was on Bactrim for two weeks and it seemed to clear it up. Actually improved in a couple of days. After a week of being off the Bactrim, I started getting the boils back. Had to take another two weeks of Bactrim.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Sinusitis: Was prescribed Bactrim for combination of sinusitis and a urinary tract infection. After two pills I got a yeast infection. Not sure the medication is working to make me feel better or not.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Urinary Tract Infection: I've taken this to treat and to prevent urinary tract infections and it has helped me with both. The only reason I gave it an 8 is because if I don't take it for a while and then I take it, I get hives. The next day when I take it I'm fine. Just happens the first time. When this happens I have to take a allergy medicine to help it go away.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Acne: Bactrim takes about a week before you see the changes. You must stay on the medicine or the acne will come back within two to three days of stopping.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Urinary Tract Infection: I felt better after 4 days. The reason why I didn't give this medication a 10 is because I experienced back pain while on this medication. Secondly, because I have to take the medicines for 7 days. I would have prefered to take AZO since it's only a 2 day medication but I couldn't because I was allergic to it.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Sinusitis: After three days of perscribed use of the generic bactrim, my headaches and nasal discharge have decrease dramatically. Side Effects, insomnia (reason I am writing this review), pain in jaw and throat if not taken with ample water.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I had a very small cut next to my fingernail that turned into a full-blown staph infection (cellulitis. It very quickly (within 24 hours) spread up my finger to my second knuckle. My doctor prescribed 10 days of Bactrim and by the second day the infection began to subside. No side effects that I can think of.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) for Bacterial Skin Infection: I began getting serious boils in the worst places a man could ever get them. A nurse friend of mine knowing I was diabetic said that many diabetics get boils in the genital area and suggested I take Bactrim. This drug cleared them up quickly, leaving me to be one happy man.
