"I took cortisone injections in my knee for 2 years the last few injections the pain was getting worse. Was tired of taking pain pills I found Euflexxa with my search. Very glad I did I took the print out to my ortho Dr. and ask him about what I found. I'm afraid of needles so they used numbing solution. I definitely did NOT feel any pain. Friday was my 2nd injection."

"I’m a 43-year-old female with a Osteoarthritis I’ve had my third injection Euflexxa shot today. I have not gotten any better if anything I'm worse off. I've been off work for weeks on FMLA leave (Family and Medical Leave Act ) I pray this takes effect soon. I’ve always been a go-getter and I feel so trapped having to walk slow deal with the pain and that could be unbearable at times. I take nothing for pain, the doctor gives me nothing for pain. I can’t take NSAIDs due to my G.I. Issues and my blood pressure is high at nighttime. It’s horrible I’m just trying to find a way to live with this the best way I know how. I’ll take any suggestions. I’m ready to get back to work, I wear a brace when I am at work, I need my pain controlled before my blood pressure becomes a REAL problem."

"After years of pain I decided to get relief with "euflexxa" shots. Worst decision I ever made. I got my first shot on 11-4-15 and I have been sick with a fever-99.3 - 101.5 since then and it is now 12-6-15. I went back to the doctor who gave me the 2 shots for the 3rd. shot on 11-18-15 & showed him the swelling in my neck, along with the constant fever, muscle spasms, with back, shoulder pain, headaches, joint pain, feel weak, & constant terrible neck pain, so I can't drive. The doctor said that I have had an adverse reaction to "euflexxa" as after the first 2 shots my fever spiked within 24 hours. He wouldn't give me the 3rd. shot & told me to apply ice on my neck swelling & allow the "euflexxa" to wear off. Horrible Nightmare-Never Again"

"Received my first injection in my "worse" knee this morning...after initial pain of injection, within a few hours, there was noticeable relief of pain, so much so that climbing stairs was a breeze - for that leg, anyway. Can't wait to finish the cycle (total of 3 injections) and then have the "better" knee treated, too."

"I had knee pain with walking several miles. 30 years of running took a toll and on doctor's orders gave up running to avoid knee replacement before 60. I ride a bike up to 80 miles a day with discomfort. After three shots over three weeks, I have minimal discomfort and completed 500 miles in one week with out any issues. No problems from the injections. It has been 6 months and knee is starting to get more tender again."

"So I had my first injections one year ago, worked great. Be sure you know what your paying and when (so there is no sticker shock). My Doc suggested a one time injection this time around, so I'm going with his recomendation (they charge per visit for X3). I would like to share one knee, torn meniscus one week (after year had expired) waited two week for recoup, other knee went after the two week. So I'm wait for pre-authorization for the shots for both knee's. Down the road I am probably looking at knee replacement, but don't want to get cut until all other options are exausted."

"I have never experienced such pain or debilitation in all of my life. It has been three weeks, and I am still limping. I cannot sit, stand, or walk for any length of time. Had I known this level of pain was a possible side effect, I would not have used the drug. This goes beyond the usual injection site redness, this goes into swelling of the knee joint, pain up and down the leg, as well as the leg is feverish. If anyone ever asks me about this or any other type of injection using this formula, I will tell them to really make sure there aren't other options before risking this kind of pain."

"I just finished my 3rd set of Euflexxa bilateral knee injections . Wasn’t sure about them, but I now see a difference in my osteoarthritis in less than a week later. Hoping they continue to improve. My Dr said the relief would be gradual. Trying to avoid total knee replacement."

"I had a total knee replacement, right knee, 15 months ago with terrible results. Now my left knee is painful due to arthritis. Dr will not due another knee replacement due to results of first one. Suggested Euflexxa series of three shots. They were somewhat painful during injections. After first two shots felt a little better. Now one week after third shot I have terrible muscle spasms in my back and sciatica on both sides. Painful standing for any amount of time. Had a bad headache for two days. Taking Tramadol for the pain. I am allergic to cortisone so that is not an option. I had torn miniscus repair in both knees years ago. Will not do any more Euflexxa shots as I probably have sensitivity to that as well. Glad it worked for some of you but there is no way to know if it will work it is a chance you take."

"I completed all 3 shots about 2 weeks ago. My knee is feeling so much better. I don't need my cane anymore. I went back to Exercise class this week and can do the standing exercises again. Very impressed!"

"I received my 1st Euflexxa injection today in my right knee. I'm only 30 but have had knee problems since I was 9. I'm now bone on bone in that knee, and my left isn't far behind. I can't have my Fulkerson until the last shot 6 weeks, so it's either do the shots or live with my pain. I must say, this 1st shot has left me in a world of hurt. The shot itself was pain-free (having used ethyl chloride numbing spray) and I walked out perfectly fine. Here it is, 8 hours later and my knee hurts worse than it has in a while. I hope after I hit that 2 day mark it will get better. Only time will tell though. I just wish they'd tell you the '48 hour pain' could be this severe."

"I am a Certified Spin instructor and I currently take and/or teach 6 classes per week. Have done so for years and before that I was a high impact aerobics instructor which is where I probably did my damage. I also ride my road bike appx 50 miles a week. I suffer from OA and torn meniscus ( 2 places) in my left knee only. I had shot #1 and taught the same day. I immediately noticed a slight improvement with a feeling of increased stability. I no longer take Ibuprofen as needed which was usually only before spin classes. I have #2 tomorrow so I'm hoping for more improvement. BTW the shot easier than the Cortisone shot."

"Received my 2nd shot of euflexxa following recovery from a broken tibal plateau that took way to long to heal and no major issues at all. Some tenderness after the injection which is expected. Following instructions of taking it easy for a day or so is highly recommended. No side effects and immediate relief from osteoarthritis pain. Pain level decreased significantly after 1st injection. Good alternative to invasive procedures and surgery. MY experience may be different than yours."

"I have been in such severe pain with my knee for 1 year. I went to Arizona Sports Medicine in Scottsdale and had it drained 3 times, 4 cortizone shots with in 6 months and didn't help. Then I went to Dr Charles S Peterson at Arizona Sports Medicine in mesa. He is the best doctor I have ever been to. He listens to what is going on with you. He suggested I get the Euflexxa series of 3 shots. I was excited and ready to get my first shot. I got the first shot done. He puts a typical numbing on the surface then gives me the shot. Oh my it hurt only when he released the liquid from the suringe and I could barley walk out I was in tears. It calmed down. Then second shot felt great, then I will.get a third shot. It really works,, I'm on my feet"

"My knees were in so much pain that my doctor recommended me have euflexxa shots in both of my knees. I had my last injection, number 3, on June 16th and I have no improvement in my knees. This was very costly which I really could not afford and my knees are in just as much pain now as they were before I had the injections."

"I'm going on two years now with almost no pain. I see stairs and try to figure out where the elvators were, curbs were also a challenge. I never experienced pain during injections and noticed immediate relief even walking back to my car. By the 3rd injection, I was thrilled ! So happy with this."

"was having severe leg pain with 2nd shot but dr gave me 3rd shot without listening to my concerns. 3rd shot disabled my walking for 3 months, lost energy to where I had to rest after taking a shower, unable to walk without cane or assistance for 3 months, could not put sock on my foot as bending at all caused unbearable pain in groin. difficulty sleeping with pain without sleep aid. would never want to experience that again. But, after 6 months, I am able to walk 2 miles daily without knee hurting at all. Primary doc said I had an allergic reaction to the medication."

"Had a Synvisc One shot about 2 years ago and experienced ZERO relief so I almost gave up on these types of injections. My right knee was hurting so bad that I had to reconsider. My new doctor told me that he has had the best experience with Euflexxa. This medication is a once per week injection for 3 weeks. I go in to get my first injection and the doctor told me to not expect much however, a day later, I could 100% feel a significant improvement in my knee. While my knee will never be 100%, I rate this product so high because my knee pain has reduced at least 60-70% which to me is a miracle. I have 2 more injections to go and on my last injection they will also be doing PRP therapy to my knee."

"I started experiencing severe pain in my right knee over 1.5 years ago. Doc told me is was moderated OA and I needed a replacement. He suggested the Euflexxa shots. After first injection I had no improvement. After second injection pain was markedly reduced and following third injection most pain was gone. It’s time now to treat this knee again along with the left one. Euflexxa has been a great alternative to surgery for me. Hopefully my insurance still covers it."

"I am in the middle of my second course of Euflexxa. I had it six months ago, and the pain relief was significant. One thing to note is that your doctor should place the injection exactly where your arthritis is. No improvement could mean he or she is not doing the injection in the right place. Another thing to note is that your activity tolerance in the first 48 hours after a Euflexxa shot can vary tremendously. I think most doctors use local anesthetic, and last shot I "felt fine" and was walking around and using short flights of stairs too much, resulting in severe pain that night (Percocet needed) and still a lot of pain the next day. The third day I was fine though. Today I got a shot and I am taking it easy to avoid pain."

"I moved to a new state so I had to change Doctors. I previously was getting Orthovisc shots a series of 4 , which worked great for me! But for some reason the new Doctor could not get Orthovisc and suggested Euflexxa. I had the three Euflexxa injection in October and now two weeks after receiving them I am experiencing locking knee, and knee buckling while walking . May need steroid injection now. I usually walk 2 miles a day . I’m going to fight for what worked for me so disappointed!"

"In December 2020, my orthopedic doctor convinced me to try Euflexxa instead of a knee replacement. By January I knew something was wrong; my knees were worse. I started to have joint pain in my wrists & shoulders. Dr said it could take 6 weeks, but by then my ankles & both feet were painful. I was mostly bedridden. When I saw him in February, he did bloodwork, saw my elevated inflammation numbers & told me I must have Lupus. He referred me to a Rheumatologist. They both decided that I have polymyalgia rheumatica but can't say that for certain. They say it was dormant inside my body & the reaction to the Euflexxa activated it. Neither believe I have had a bad reaction to Euflexxa. I am now on Prednisone, have started to slowly taper, but Rheumatologist wants me to start Methotextrate in a month. She says this is a permanent condition. I'm 69 years old. I used to make pottery, jewelry, garden, walk. I still need a knee replacement. I'm looking for a new Orthopedic & Rheumatologist."

"I am 28 and have done 4-5 rounds of Euflexxa. So far, it does help decrease pain levels and increase activity. However, this last round, in December, was extremely painful. I am hoping it was weather related, and not related to the medicine or to my knee getting worse."
