MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Very effective. Tastes horrible but put it in a wide mouthed cup with ice, pinched my nose and gulped it down. Not too bad that way! Also chewed mint gum immediately after each dose. I hope Niagra Falls stops before my procedure in 5 hours.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I wanted to prove to myself that I could take it, so I just gulped the stuff down as quickly as possible. Tastes like salty sour lemon candy and a little like bitter lemon. Now I have to wait 5 years to have this much fun again. Not a pleasant experience but I can tolerate it every 5 years.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: This is by far the easiest prep I’ve used. Yes, it smells and tastes awful, but you can overcome that somewhat by mixing ahead and chilling the mixture, using a straw, and chasing with a sip of whatever tastes good to you. Stand and walk a bit while you drink--it helps get things moving and dispels the bloated feeling. The prep starting working in 50 minutes both evening and morning, and worked thoroughly. The duration of action was 4 hours after the evening dose, 2 hours after the morning. No nausea, very little cramping, and not much soreness. I was able to have the procedure done and didn't have much trouble getting back to normal. I would use this again when necessary.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I had a colonoscopy about 15 years ago. The preparation to clean the bowels was just awful. Moviprep is far far easier and works much quicker than the others on the market. The taste is not great. Follow the instructions to a the letter and you won't go wrong. My colonoscopy is due tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to a nice tea tomorrow night.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I've followed my prep to a "T". I finished the first liter a half hour ago, I'm now sitting on the throne and Moviprep is doing an awesome job. I had absolutely no problems, it is probably a good idea to keep it cold, drink it quickly and maybe pinch your nose if you don't like the smell. My real problem with the whole procedure is not having anything to eat in the 36 hours prior to the scoping.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I used MoviPrep as directed and it did not work. It also took longer to work out of my system than other preps I have used in the past. I have never had a problem with other preps.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: My doctor had a coupon for a FREE kit of MoviPrep, so that became my choice. It was horrible. I mixed it with water and hated the salty, "lemon" taste. So, I added 16 oz lemon-lime Gatorade. It didn't help. I started at 5:30 pm and it took me over an hour and a half to get through the liter. It started working 45 minutes into the process. I felt like I was peeing like a racehorse from my backside! By the end of the liter, I still did not have clear flushes, so I was worried. I started my next dose at 9:45. I mixed it with 32 oz of Blue Powerade (still horrible) instead of water. Got done drinking at 11:45. It worked great but needed the second dose to achieve clear "flushes". I went to sleep at 1am, but had to get up 2x before my 5am alarm.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I recently had a colonoscopy and was directed to take Moviprep. If you are on antidepressants or have a very sensitive stomach do not take this product. I drank only half a litre and the effects were very negative. Moviprep cleaned my stomach of everything including the anti depressant I am taking (Celexa). My body went into withdrawal and I had a huge panic attack. My doctor suggested I take Florastor to restore the good bacteria in my stomach which allowed my body to once again absorb Celexa and allow it to take effect. After four days of taking Florastor the panic attacks stopped and so did the nausea.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: As soon as I smelled the Moviprep and took the first drink, it reminded me of Lemon Pledge furniture polish. It has a strong taste and seems to get stronger with each gulp. I started at 5pm and by the 2nd 8oz dose it had started working. Stay very close to the toilet. Started the second phase at 8am the next day and had a very difficult time drinking it. I almost vomited a few times. I could not finish the last 6 oz's. I just couldn't. I did use apple juice to help & I took a sip of juice then gulp the mix then another drink of juice and it helped get it down. When you are finally going clear yellow fluid, you are clean according to my doc. That happened at the end of the 3rd dose in the morning. It worked perfectly for the test.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I was dreading taking this medication because I had been feeling really exhausted & unwell for a long time, the thought of being awake half the night on the loo concerned me how exhausted I might feel the next day. I was pleasantly surprised to discover however that the more waste that was expelled the better I felt & the more my energy returned. I did find though that if I tried to lie down in between visits to the loo I would feel sick and the tiredness would begin to return. I guess it must have been slowing down the expelling of toxins & so the toxins were being reabsorbed back into my body. No cramping or any pain, largely due I believe to not eating massive meals in the few days in the lead up... what goes in has to come out!!

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: My first colonoscopy is tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I have ulcerative colitis but the doc thinks it may be Crohn's disease. So I got Moviprep, took the advice made it up night before and chilled, first litre was ok.. tough but I managed it. I had a bowel movement just before I started drinking the first litre so that probably helped as I didn't have much problems, it did what it was meant to and aside from a slightly sore behind I didn't think it was that bad. Then came the time for the second litre, tried sucking mints, adding peppermint, cider but only managed 1/4. It's horrible I gave up just water now so hopefully all will work out tomorrow.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Read some negative about MoviPrep so was a little worried. However it turned out to be no problem for me. No matter what you take its not going to be fun. First container I drank the taste was okay but the second one it got a little worse. Used apple juice to chase it. Just drink as fast as one can and get it over with. Cleaned me out without a whole lot of discomfort. Works as advertised. Cost was high. All done, but the day before of all liquid diet is no fun no matter what prep you do. Would recommend it.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: I've spent many hours reading all sorts of horror stories on MoviPrep. Here's mine (I'm currently on the final glass of the 2nd dose). Two days before procedure I ate very lightly. Yesterday, I ate nothing, but did drink lots of fluids including Gatorade. Drank the first 32 oz at 6 pm. Took me 1.25 hours to get it down. Tastes yucky, but not THAT bad. Results started pretty much right after that and I stayed in the toilet for a solid hour or more. It didn't hurt, just a little uncomfortable and some tummy gurgling. Went to bed and got some sleep, but woke up feeling a little nauseous. Then I had to get up at 3:30 to do my 2nd liter. Almost done now. We'll see if all goes well at appointment.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Used as a prep before my colonoscopy. It did what it was supposed to do. I would recommend drinking lots of fluids during the day to stay hydrated. It did not give me stomach cramps like a previous prep I'd used 7 years ago. I mixed it up about 8 hours ahead of time and got it really chilled in the fridge. Also, drink it with a straw as you bypass a lot of taste buds that way! It is very salty, but wasn't intolerable for me.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Dear God! I am in the midst of taking this product, and while I have read EVERY online forum to get helpful hints and tips on how to make this palatable, I am here to tell you they lied! I am only on my third overall glass and just looking at it makes me want to be sick. I made it cold, added Crystal Light powder, and am trading each sip with a swig of Ginger Ale. Despite all of my valiant efforts this stuff is nasty. At this point I am invested. All I can say is, it better do its job! I should not be suffering through this at 30! Bring on the excavation.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Constipation, Chronic: I put off having a colonoscopy because of the horror stories friends had told of the gallon of prep they had to drink and how horrible it was. MoviPrep was a small 32oz. bottle, the lemon flavor wasn't something I'd want to drink on a regular basis, but it wasn't that bad. I did chill in fridge, shake before pouring into a plastic cup with top and straw. Immediately following each 8 oz. I chewed a fresh piece of Juicy Fruit gum until the next 8 oz. Did the second 32 oz. of MoviPrep at 5 a.m. the day of my procedure. It was slightly harder to get down simply because I don't eat or drink anything until later in the day. Procedure was a breeze.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes): Prep for my colonospy. Mixed them together with cold water and put it in the refrig for 4 hours. When I took it out of the refrig I shook it good and poured out the first 8ozs. Drank it pretty fast. It was cold and went down pretty easy. Waited 15 minutes and did it again until it was gone. Humm, nothing happened, drank a Costco bottle of water, nothing. Then about an hour later I was glad I stocked up on TP. Back and forth several times and started to drink more water in hopes that I run clear. Ten years ago I had a small bottle they had me mixed with Dr Pepper. Oh boy, everytime I drank water I was sitting down. This is not so aggressive. Doing round 2 at 3a/m. Hope its about the same experience.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Followed the instructions to the latter and it did not work. I did not have a bowel movement until 11 hours after the first dose. My doctor had to abort the colonoscopy. We are going to use a different prep next time. MoviPrep really tastes horrible also. It took three days for MoviPrep to clear out of my system and for me to have a solid bowel movement.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: BLEAH! This stuff was foul tasting, and while I was able to get down the first dose, which I took at 6 p.m., my body wasn't having anything to do with finishing the second dose, which I started at 6 a.m. I had just finished the third glassful, and promptly threw up. No heaves; just opened my mouth and it left in a hurry. Now I'm due for another colonscopy, since obviously prep for the first one didn't work, and I'm going to try to take Suprep. Wish me luck.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: It is 12:15 am, started the MoviPrep at 7:00pm and within exactly 45 min of drinking it I had extreme results that went on for about 1 1/2 hrs and still having some residual and feel like at this point I am cleaned out. But have to do the 2nd dosage at 5:00am. This really works for cleaning you out and pretty fast. Have a lot of rumbling like a train is in my stomach. Going to try and sleep until 5 when I have to do the 2nd part. One thing I have to say...it tastes HORRIBLE! To me it tasted salty, lemon but it tasted like you would imagine an industrial cleaning fluid would taste YUCK!

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Can't see what the problem is, it says on the packet what it is going to do and taste like. It tastes horrible, hot, cold or warm, it cleans the bowel. What more do you want? Except a positive result after the colonoscopy. Go with the flow and get on with it.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Worked fine. Mix water with crystal light lemonade first then let it get to room temp. Then mixed in MoviPrep. Tasted fine. My problem is the side effect 24hrs after the last dose. Lots of stomach discomfort and bloating, not from procedure since it had to be cancelled because doctor was away. Yuk...have to do this again next week....he did reimburse me the 50bucks for the script.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: It DIDN'T WORK! I followed the instructions to the latter, but MoviPrep didn't do the job. It didn't completely cleanse the colon, and now I have to go through the whole colonoscopy session again with another preparation product. The taste wasn't too bad (used hard candy between doses), and it started to work quite quickly. It seemed to work as I spent a lot of time in the bathroom. However it didn't do a complete job.

MoviPrep (polyethylene glycol 3350 with electrolytes) for Bowel Preparation: Started the first dose at 3:30pm. By 4:45pm I had 3/4 down but had to quit because I was gagging and almost throwing it up with each drink. It's 9:20pm and nothing has happened yet. I feel like I have to go but nothing is happening, like I'm constipated. I'm worried because I know they will stop the procedure and make you come back if you aren't cleaned out. I have my second dose planned for 4AM. Hopefully it is working by then.
