I started taking Bontril 105mg for about 4 days and haven't weighed myself yet. I used to take this pill about 4 years ago and lost around 30 pounds, but then stopped taking them when my former Doctor stopped prescribing diet pills. It was until a co-worker referred me to a new Doctor and I am completely happy with him. He first gave me Adipex but after 2 months with no weight loss results he changed me to Bontril last week. I am confident and happy that I am back to this pill and more than sure that it will work. I am 157 and 5" and my goal is to lose 35 pounds before my 20 months old birthday.

I lost 6 pounds on the first week of taking Bontril, then no more lost. I didn't have cravings at first but after 3 weeks I am hungry again. Headaches are gone, still doing the diet but nothing happens. I will finish the first bottle and see if it is worth it to start a second. I had high expectations.

I started taking Bontril about 5 days ago and have already lost 11 pounds, Amazing! I am not at all hungry, I have to make myself eat 3 meals a day and the only thing so far is I haven't slept well. Hopefully this will subside. I started at 166 pounds and I am 5'6" tall and my goal is 145 pounds.

Previous user of Adipex (phentermine), which would work great for the first few weeks, but then totally wear off, not to mention the side effects (insomnia, heart palpitations, constipation, anxiety) were annoying to deal with. Switched to Bontril and am so happy I did. I feel calm and focused. It's the oddest thing to not have to "stress" over counting calories and choosing good food options. It just sort of is a perk with Bontril. One tip: drink lots of water. Bontril, water and clean eating dropped 8.7 pounds off me in a week. One of the best parts is going to bed and being able to sleep, which was hard with Adipex.

I began using this medication February 5, 2009 and have lost 25 pounds to date. I follow the 1200 calorie intake recommended and go dancing twice a week as exercise. This medication is a great jump start to changing your eating habits. I no longer need to eat pizza, burger, fries, or soda to feel full. Grilled chicken salad is now my new favorite meal. If used appropriately it should help reach your goal.

I'm taking Bontril now. Today was a week. I have lost at least 3 lbs, eat 1/4th of what I did, and am more focused. While taking this you should drink lots of water because your mouth will be dry.

I am 70 years young, 5'1" tall, and did weigh 160. I have been taking Bontril for 6 weeks. I feel great and have lost 12 lbs. I must see my doctor every 30 days to be weighed. I find that I am satisfied with a lot less food. I try to eat a lot of vegies and tiny amounts of meat. Also bread that has 7 grams of fiber. When I get to my target weight of 140 lbs, I will wean myself off the Bontril by taking it every other day at first then down from there. I do not have an addictive personality.
