I have had severe, life altering migraines for 30 years, more severe since I had children. Tried every preventive-- lyrica, anti-convulsants, anti depressants. Had so many side effects from the medicines that I had given up hope. Moved from a metropolitan area -Phoenix, to a rural town near Maryland. Local neurologist gave me Inderal and treximet. The Treximet is pure magic! No side effects, sometimes I need 2 but I can LIVE a normal life now!

This medication really works for me, I wouldn't know what I would do without it. However, it does upset my stomach a bit.

Killed the migraine within 30 minutes but sent me to the ER with chest pains, shortness of breath, dizzy, confusion, etc. I experience every "possible" side effect listed. Don't be afraid to take the medicine, but don't be afraid to go to the ER if you experience the side effects.

I give Treximet a 10 rating based on my 30 plus years of suffering from migraine. For me, it stopped the migraine in it's tracks without the nausea I experienced from the Imitrex injection or nasal application. It also kept me from experiencing the 24-48 hour "hangover" that I would experience after the acute phase of the migraine had passed. An excellent drug!

I've had migranes since I was 15. So bad that I would vomit and break blood vessels in my eyes. After spending countless days in bed, I finally decided to do something about it. My doctor gave me a sample of Treximet and within a week, a migrane hit. I took the pill and within one hour it was GONE. NO side effects and I could carry on with my day. WELL worth the price. Truly a miracle drug.

I am 30 and have had migraines since I was 14. My head has always hurt (to the touch) the day after a migraine. I did not experience that after taking Treximet nor did I have any side effects. I absolutely love this medicine.

I suffer from chronic migraines and I have seen multiple neurologists and have tried numerous medications. Treximet was the first that actually got rid of my migraines. Within half an hour my migraine is gone. Treximet is expensive but for me it is well worth it.

For me, this is truly a wonder drug. Knocks out migraine in about half an hour. Well worth the money, especially when my migraines have lasted for many days in the past. The only side effect is this strange loopiness that comes after about an hour, but it ends an hour or so later. And, compared to the headache, short term loopiness is certainly not a bad thing.

Very good migraine medicine. I've taken it on several different migraine attacks and it works every time. I do get the side effect of the "warm/tingling sensation" that scared me the first time I took it, but I immediately called my doctor and that is a mild side effect of the drug. Also, I tend to get a heavy sensation around the neck area and tingly sensation in the nose, but they go away after an hour or two and the migraine is completely GONE. Miracle drug for sure! Ask your doctor or neurologist about Treximet!

I am 25 years old, and up to about 4 months ago I never had problems with headaches, of any kind. I finally went to the doctor after daily horrible headaches. She put me on Treximet. I have taken it once, and my headaches have resolved, knock on wood! I did have a strange tightness in my neck, but about an hour or so after taking the medicine, that had gone away along with my headache. I still have to have a MRI done, to be sure that there isn't anything else going on. So far, this has helped me resume my normal life.

I started getting really bad headaches at a young age but never thought it was anything serious until I became pregnant and they became worse. I tried everything from Excedrine migraine to Aleve. About 9 months ago my doctor gave me a sample of Treximet and I had my doubts but it actually worked. The only side effect that I had was a burning feeling in my nose, but the pain was gone and I could deal with that.

I am a chronic migraine sufferer, and I didn't really notice any difference in using this than just the sumatriptan injection, though the injection worked a little faster. My migraine would disappear in about 30 minutes, but I would get a strange side effect: a tight, tense, mildly achy feeling in my neck for about 2 hours following administration. Like I said, my migraine was gone, but the discomfort in my neck was just as disruptive and annoying.

I was given samples by my gynecologist to treat menstrual migraines. My gynecologist told me that my migraines are the worst she's ever seen. Treximet is the best migraine treatment I have ever taken. Within 20 minutes (and only one pill), my headache is completely gone and it will not reoccur. I can continue doing whatever I was doing before the migraine kicked in. The only reason I didn't assign it a 10 was because I tend to get excessively thirsty along with a dry mouth but nothing compared to those horrible migraines. Completely worth it.

I get horrible menstrual migraines. I've tried medicines in the past. Some didn't work, some worked but gave me a rebound headache. Then I started trying natural remedies. Some help, but nothing has gotten rid of my migraines. I decided to give another medicine a try because I expected a migraine to come on a day I had an important event. My doctor gave me a sample of Treximet. My migraine started coming on DURING the event. I took one pill, and within 20 minutes I could feel the pain lessen. I'd say within an hour it was completely gone. It's now been 2 days and I have not gotten a rebound headache. I also don't remember much of a side effect. I felt a little out of sorts for a bit, but that went away fairly quickly.

This medicine is great. It is the only medicine that will stop my headaches. Just one pill worked within 30 minutes. The only side effect was super sensitive salivary glands. Worth the money.

I had a choice of going to the ER or taking the pill. I took the pill and 30 minutess later the pain was gone. Then came the side effects, weak, pressure in the shoulders, speech and memory were difficult and little pressure in the chest. All were gone in less than an hour. I was so happy with the results. Living without migraines is priceless to me.

I've been battling migraines for more then a decade. Been through everything from Aromatherapy to muscle relaxers to antidepressants and so far this has worked the best. Had a migraine last night and took a dose - in 20 minutes I could breathe again. Started to get another one several hours later and took another dose and it worked. Good drug that does what it says it will do.

Knocked out my headache very quickly. I did have a few side effects such as stiff neck and overall quesyness and heartburn. The side affects didn't last more than an hour or so, but the headache was gone and I was happy. As with any medication I will try and "ride out" the headache to avoid taking medication, but I will keep this one around.

They should market this like Raid. Treximet: It kills migraines DEAD. 15-20 minutes later, I feel human again, and 30-45 minutes later, I wonder why I didn't take it sooner. The only bad thing I have to say is, it's expensive.

I only used half a pill and wow it was wonderful. It also relieved the tension and strain that I always hold in my neck, back and shoulders.

I'm on a daily medication for migraines but still sometimes get one that will last for 3-4 days. Nothing was working until I tried Treximet. Migraine is gone within 30 minutes.

This is the only migraine treatment that has ever had any effect for me. I've tried everything the is for migraines. The doctors even gave me anti-depressants to see if that would help and blood pressure pills even though I already have low blood pressure. They even tried giving me a strong dosage of muscle relaxers. Nothing at all helped my migraines until Treximet. This is the best medication out there for migraines.

I have been fighting migraines for 50 years. I asked my doctor for this and it stops my headaches within 15 to 20 minutes. The bad thing is that my insurance will not cover this drug. They said it costs $180.00 for 9 pills.

With Treximet I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, my severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmacist for telling me about the drug. I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample. I only wish the pill wasn't so big.

This is the only medication that has worked for me. I have taken it on three occasions and it has gotten rid of my headache within 40 minutes. It's amazing. The only side effect I've had is a slight feeling of heartburn.

Can't believe how well this worked. I've become so scared when a migraine comes on that I almost didn't try this new drug but am I glad I did. A little achy around the neck area and felt a small amount of heaviness in the chest area but those symptoms went away quickly. The amazing part is that the headache didn't come when I took it as soon as the aura came. Will be asking for a script for this one.
