methotrexate for Ectopic Pregnancy: I was given this drug for an ectopic pregnancy, at 6 weeks. It's a slow process and the pain is still there but so far have been followed every week and it seems that its been working in my case the Bhcg (pregnancy hormone) level is going down. Exprerienced some side effects.

methotrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis: To me this is a miracle drug. Five years ago, when I was diagnosed with RA, I could not lift a coffee pot, dress myself, shrug my shoulder or push a swinging door open. After taking methotrexate, I got all of my abilities back. I consider it a wonder drug, because I can function again.

methotrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis: This medication has made my life so much more bearable. It is not a miracle drug. I still have pain, but now I can get around and do things for myself.

methotrexate for Systemic Sclerosis: I have systemic scleroderma, which is an autoimmune disorder. This condition is very painful and it also limits to what you can do on a daily basis. I had to quit my job one year ago. Methotrexate in my condition is used to hopefully depress the immune system. My disease is very rare and there are no treatments for the disease. So I am praying that methotrexate will help me. I have a wonderful Rheumatologist group who are very supportive. My system seems to want to shut down, but I am determined not to let this disease get me.

methotrexate for Psoriasis: I have had Psoriasis for 12 years. While it has not helped the stubborn patches on my scalp and groin, it has been very helpful for my joints. However, I am taking 15mg once a week and after 5 days my hands and feet ache again. I feel very old sometimes. As we know, it's trial and error. This is worth the risks so that I can shop, play Frisbee, and simply act my age.

methotrexate for Psoriasis: I tried a number of different treatments, but only methotrexate helps. I had it in my scalp, back, genital area, mostly body parts that were not exposed to sun and air, which I find interesting. My doctor said sun exposure would help and it works for me. Still have a little on my scalp, but usually one application of Olux will clear it up.

methotrexate for Psoriasis: Worked wonders for me. I suffered from Psoriasis covering the insides of my hands. Was very painful. Would crack and bleed. Tried many creams and other meds. Once I started this medication it cleared up quickly. Am now able to use my hands again.
