Meperitab (meperidine) for Pain: Great medicine for short term relief. Long term pain control with Meperidine requires dosage adjustment as it becomes less effective over time. There are side-effects that can be a nuisance or even severe, especially if one suddenly stops taking the medicine after being on it for a long period. 16 user(s) found this comment helpful. Did you?
